Kerikeri Arts Inc is a voluntary organisation committed to bringing arts events to Kerikeri - currently mainly music and dance. Kerikeri Arts Inc. also functions as the Kerikeri Community Arts Council through which it supports a wider range of artisitic activity. Applications for Creative New Zealand funding may be made through Kerikeri Community Arts Council for projects which assist or increase artistic activity in the community. Generally these are for small amounts - applications relating to more subtantial projects should be made to Creative Communities, care of the Far North District Council.

"ABOUT US"

Membership of this group is encouraged from all who are interested in participating in what we do or in attending our scheduled events. A regular newsletter is sent to all members and where appropriate certain booking privileges are offered. Our subscriptions are $15 ($20 per family) per annum.

Among the organisations which regularly visit Kerikeri at our invitation are the Royal New Zealand Ballet, the NZ National Youth Choir, The Auckland Youth Orchestra. Kerikeri Arts is also an associate organisation of Chamber Music New Zealand and has access to touring artists sposnored by that group. As and when opportunities permit we also sponsor drama. Generally up to 6 events are scheduled each year.
