This modern gallery is on the Polytechnic campus but is most
conveniently reached from Murdoch Crescent. From the Information Centre visitors
can proceed south (towards Auckland), turning right at the crest of the hill
through the traffic islands then bearing right into Murdoch Crescent.
The Gallery is open from lOam to 4pm on weekdays and features
the work of local artists, tutors and students of the Polytechnic and occasional
exhibitions from outside the country. It regularly holds exhibitions for
artists who are not Northlanders. There is no admission
charge.
